Mandarthi is a developing Village in Udupi District. This place has become a great pilgrimage, which is the abode of the Divine mother Sri Durga Parameshwari Temple. Sri Durga Parameshwari Temple Pre University College was founded in July, 2000. The students from all sections of the society are joining this institute to study Arts, Commerce and Science. The college aims at transferring the students in to good responsible human beings to build a better tomorrow. The college has a well furnished building of its own with well equipped laboratory, good Library, reading room and a rest room. In addition to this it has a large play ground.
